Tegenungan Waterfall is located at Petanu River and is a perfect destination for a day trip from Ubud. Don’t forget to take your bathing suits – you will have the chance to take a natural shower under the waterfall. While hiking to the spot you can buy foods, clothes or souvenirs in the little warungs on the way. An adventurer can even jump off a cliff into the Tegenungan Waterfall. But watch out, this can dangerous if not done right.
Aling – Aling Waterfall
Aling Aling Waterfall is one of the best waterfalls in Bali. The Aling-Aling waterfall is surrounded by green nature and many trees. You will experience the untouched landscape and crystal clear water. At the top of the cliff, the water splits and flows down into two streams. You can even jump or slide into the water, which is a lot of fun. But watch out, this can dangerous since the rocks can be slippery! There is only a little admission fee to Aling Aling Waterfall, but to jump or slide down you need to take a guide, which will cost additional.
The Sekumpul waterfall is a hidden treasure. The peaceful area and the few tourists make this waterfall to one of the best waterfalls in Bali. It’s a long hike to get there and you need to climb many steps. But as soon as you reached the waterfall, you will see water splashing down from 80m which is impressive.Simply listen to this wonderful sound of pure nature. On the top of the hill, you can see all seven waterfalls of Sekumpul. “Sekumpul” means “group of waterfalls”
Fiji waterfall is quite unknown among tourists and therefore not so crowded. But it’s a real stunner and among the best waterfalls in Bali. There are three cascades falling side by side. Experience untouched and tropical green forests all around. But don’t forget your swimsuits. You can even take a dip in the base pool.
Kanto Lampo Waterfall
Kanto Lampo is located in Gianyar. It is one of the best waterfalls, although it is not the biggest or the most mind-blowing. It is still a very special one. The water flows through many rocky steps, which looks beautiful. You can also climb down the rocky cliff to get this wonderful view from the front. A railing is provided, but be careful climbing down the 8-meter cliff. You can also have a swim in the clear and cool water. You need to pay a small admission fee to enter Kanto Lampo Waterfall.
Tukad Cepung Waterfall
Tukad Cepung Waterfall offers an immense sense of peace. If you are lucky you can experience the sunlight falling on the waterfall and creating a rainbow. This is a magical moment. You can stand right in front of the glistering waterfall and simply enjoy this nature spectacle. Protected from rocks on the sides, this place offers a cool retreat on hot Bali days.
The Gitgit Waterfall is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Bali. This waterfall is most of the times very crowded, especially in high season. You can find the Gitgit waterfall almost in every tour guide about Bali and so it’s on every bucket list of tourists in this area. But for a good reason: Water splashes down from 40 meters in the middle of a jungle forest. You can hear the sound of nature all around. Gitgit Waterfall is located in the mountains of Singaraja and accessible from a little village. Brace yourself with a delicious Nasi Goreng of one of the Warungs nearby before hiking down to the waterfalls.
